Airbox - Big Doubt
#1

As I have already told youin my presentation topic and in the description topic of my bike, I'm doing an upgrade on my Mito, but I'm having a doubt that I would like to clarify.
My air filter box is the model 1999 and as I have a Mikuni TM34SS (from a RGV and RS 250) to ride, I want to clarify with you what would be the best option for the air box system to install.
I've read several threads about this, but I confess that I was not clarified, so I would be grateful if you could give me your opinion, especially if I can keep my original air box, or if its better to put a full power from the original Mito or even a conical filter.
If you have other suggestions, I appreciate because the time starts to push for conclude the project and I have to make a decision.
Another issue is the reed valve. Its worth the VForce3 or Boiesen? I have also read a lot about this but I didnt get to any conclusion.
Once again I would be very grateful for your wise help.
Best regards

the best aribox is the "cornuto" one because it takes fresh air from the outside
leave the vforce to rs, boysen is ok but the best is the seven one
Hi,
what you want to mean with "cornuto" ? Itīs a type of airbox ?
I have already read about "cornuto" and "coperchio de aspirazione frontal" but I admit I didn't understand because it was in Italian.
This system is hand made or produced in series?
In afirmative where can I bui it.
Thank you for the clarification you can provide me

Shit !!! Itīs the only one "cornuto" that I find in the ebay the other's are the same model like mine (EV2 - 6 speed).
The holes that you refer are the cutouts on the horn, or the otherīs three holes in the top of the cover ?

The simple choise is buy a airbox cover that we call "a presa frontale" or "frontale" (front intake).
The performance of this two airbox cover are very similar, so don't lose your head to search too much and take the first that you find.
