you can lower the squish to a safe 0.9-1.0mm =D
another good boost in torque and power will be changing your to good crafted exhaust (the better you can find) from the user: mat.
good work anyway

hi sorry, if admin can move to correct place :D

squish cannot be reduced any more unless i machine the c.head , drop base gaskets ( which will effect my port timing) or use a flat piston with a 200H head. with my set up its not possible to get lower squish .
thanks for your comments .

hi, i know , i was not as happy as i could have been but my dyno result is 24 from wheel, so around 27 bhp from crank. if i changed to flat piston 1 ring, 200H c.head also raise bae gasket for better port timing because mine is slightly out at the moment then i kinow i can get more power. is there any thing else i can do for more power?? i built the bike with every thing de-restriced so dont know why i have low power?? any ideas??

thanks

that dyno result is from wheel, and it was a stock mito with original exhaust.
probably you made some mistake whit carburation or engine settings.
use pistons with 2 ring, try to make the original parts of you're engine work better.
this is an example of a stock mito, with an accurate setting of engine and carburation, the exhaust is the one used in seven speed mitos.

that is very impressive..... i built my mito to exact evo 1 spec. only 2 things i did not have was the 7 speed bottom end and ignition timing for the mikuni 35mm. maybe it is my carb set up then? i know that all mikuni 35mm evo come with 7 speed so maybe it is better for th mikuni. any advise for more tuning would be cool because i wantmore BHP. :mhihi: i am using a fully open exhaust from evo 1 bike and full air intake with horns, 160 psi from cylinder too. using original cagiva conrod and cylinder. ?? im stuck with getting more power if stock is producing more than mine :f4wheel2ci: lol please , any advise . had new main bearings fitted too, would that contribte to less bhp till worn in?

thanks

the first step is to set perfectly the rdc and the squish and to have a good head.
you can find the head's quote here in the forum, look for mototecnica article.
there you will find lot of information to set up your engine and your carburetor.
the second step consist of getting power by increasing the efficience of your cylinder, unfortunately you'll need to get in touch with someone that can make your cylinder work better.
the third step needs an optimization of crankshaft, carters, piston rod exc.
as for the second step you need someone capable.
you need also to know that the best exhaust for mito's engine is the artigianale sp one, and it is produced by mat.
you can get in touch with him by private message.
there is also a programmable ignition unit called zeeltronic.

sorry for my english but it's difficult to use tecnical language...

hi, thanks for your reply, i know its difficult to exchange good tech info between dfferant langueges. are you talking about port mapping of cylindr and what is rdc? i will send mat a message about the exhaust thanks. my clinder is original evo 1 cylinder but im using a 6 speed bottom end instead of a 7 speed. maybe this is having an effect on performance too. my squish is quite large at 1.55 , i speak regular to cagiva4ever in 125sportbike forum. not possible to lower my suish anymore with my set up unless i machine head or change to 200H c.head and use flat piston. due to me using the dome piston with the 73070 cylinder i haveto drop down base gaskets to optain even very poor 1.55 squis, effecting my port timing at piston at BDC. so there are a few things i can do to improve bhp by sound of it. many thanks for all info so far. :Risata rotante:

i don't know how to say rdc in english, i'm sorry...
for example, 13:1 is an rdc, you know?
however there's no power difference between 7 speed bottom and 6 speed one, use the one you prefer...
