I'm Vytenis and come from England (originally from Lithuania).
Im 22 years old and own a 2001 Cagiva Mito Evo. It has Bunny-Ear Airbox and a Mikuni 35mm carb (ignition timing at 1.85mm)
I am now looking into getting the Artiginale SP exhaust as I've read its the best exhaust for the Mito.
Am i correct in saying that the Artigianale SP '95 is the best one?
Apologies for not writing in Italian as i do not know it. I hope you guys can understand me.
PS; the bike also had a paint job done on it over a year ago.
Regards.

Artigianale SP was the best exhaust. But now CMC user 'mat' has created a better exhaust, we use it in Alpe Adria Road racing Championship and CIVS competitions.
We never did such tests. And we never had sophisticated instruments. 'Try and see' was always used. And no simulations! (CIT. Jan Thiel)

Could you tell me what this new exhaust is called? And is it considerably better than the Artigianale SP? Also in terms of price?
I should stress that no cylinder work/porting/compresion etc. has been done to modify from stock(so far) and the bike is going to be used for street only.
I have been trying to PM 'Mat' but i keep getting the message 'You are not allowed to use the messenger feature on this board'.
I've wrote an e-mail to 'alwarrior' about this earlier today. Perhaps you have the authority to look into this?
I found a website which i believe is from the CMC member 'Mat', am i correct?

It is not the mat website.

is properly an hand made (made by the user of this forum called "mat") reply of the pipe that Cagiva gave in 1995 with the ufficial 125 sport production kit,
developed by the Cagiva Research Centre (CRC)
the "better exhaust", that the user {mRk} have introduced to you, is a new improved version of that pipe, developed by "mat",
born with the experience of these last years of competition in the 125SP class of the Alpe Adria Road Racing Championship
this is my thought,
i think also that will cost about the same price of the Artigianale SP (270€) and it will give non too different performances,
more suitable for the race use instead of legal street
here you are the profile of our "mat"

Thanks for the explanation. Its alot more clear now. The online translator translated 'Artigianale' as 'artisan' so i thought that was the actual name of it.
You say that its more suitable for race. It would still give me quite alot of benefit compared to an Arrow exhaust right?
And in-terms of ''Street-Legal'', i could put on a different can on if it was too loud right?

I suggest you to comment the video in the section "multimedia" because I think is easier for you
avoid this section and "compleanni ed eventi speciali", in these sections posts won't increase

so is preferable for use in circuit, ask "mat" for detailed questions
on the "Artigianale SP" you can put any standard silencer, here is recommendede the carbon silencer of the old mito 7 speed full power
or... if you want the best...ask "mat" for his special silencer production
summarizing...ask "mat"!
go! go! go! the 30th there isn't so far

there aren't excessive noise problem, the "better exhaust" in confront of the "artigianale sp" get something plus at highs in sacrifice of lows, i think

Possibly because 'mat' builds from scratch he could build an exhaust that would give me better Lows (acceleration) and mids? instead of Highs?
I will ask 'mat'.
I got 16 posts left. hehe. Its coming.........slowly.......
