Hi People, just thought I would add one of my Mito to this area.......She is my Favorite  Immagine inserita Immagine inserita Immagine inserita Immagine inserita Immagine inserita Immagine inserita Immagine inserita Immagine inserita Immagine inserita Immagine inserita She was very original when I bought her & a proper UK bike, not an import (very rare as they were only available for 12months & very expensive, so not many sold) but just unloved & needing some tender loving care. She was stripped down, everything cleaned up, repainted & put back together. I did change the front fairing a little to add the black number board & decals as I think they don't look as nice all red & added a few other minor decals like Vale's Mito. She is still totally standard mechanically though. :cincin:

Thank you :smiling: I think you mean the tax disc?? (bolted to where the rear foot peg hangers would be??) Its what we have to have in the UK. Its called Vehicle Excise Duty (was road fund licence) Every vehicle has to be taxed here to use on the road, unless it was manufactured before 1973. Its just another was of our government getting more money out of us. :fire:

oh well, so you pay just if you use the bike on the road? here in italy we have a tax that is called "tassa di proprietà" or "bollo". it's a propoerty tax, so you have t pay if youhave a vehicle, even if you don't use it in the road. Is the same thing in england?

Anyway, beautiful bike. :)

If the bike/car is insured it must be taxed or it has to be declared off road or they will fine you. If it is not insured, then the DVLA will get you to declare it off as well, or they will fine you. If you are caught by the police with no tax, they can confiscate the car/bike & crush it!!!!!! The prices are set by engine size for bikes so a 125 is only £17, so its not too bad. For cars...after 2001 it is done on engine emmissions, so a more polluting car pays more for the tax.

but you can as well declare to use the vehicle in private roads (racetracks) and then you shouldn't pay anything, am i right?

For other things indeed is similar here in italy, but if the police caught you without insurance they won't confiscate your vehicle, but they put it aside and you have to pay to have it back.

hope you understood what i said.

X-hide - As the bike was an original Lucky I photographed & measured the stickers. Then I had them made my a local company (they made my Alitalia ones as well) I had a few different versions done though to get it how I wanted as they could not get the red printed in the lucky logo correct, so I also had some cut rather than printed. Immagine inserita bubagan - yes I understand :D Yes it is similar here. But lots of people also use there daily cars/bikes for track days, rather than have a track car/bike that is declared off road. bellar89 - thank you. There are quite a few mito's over here, but you don't see that many on the roads. Probably more Aprilia's :taccio: or 4 strokes now!! :(

Great job!

Do you still have a scan (or photo) of them and the correct measures? Are hard to find...
