hi there
oil pump not working correctly is common problem of cagiva mito engines!
i'd recommend you to replace the pump with a new one!
the pump does not have a fixed oil ratio, it depends by the engine's rpm and by how much you open the throttle..
the percentage is variable, from about 1% to 2% and over.
in my opinion keeping the automatic pump is the best choice, because it sends some oil in the cylinder also when you brake and totally close the throttle (because the ratio depends also by the rpm)
if you manually mix the oil, instead, there is no lubrication at all, when you close down the throttle, leading to a major risk of damaging your engine when you brake.
anyways, if you decide to get off the pump, i'd recommend you a percentage not less than 2%, 2.5% if you spend most of the time using all the potential of your bike!
bye!
